Banner – is a graphic commercials. Banners are placed to attract potential clients, or for image formation.

In the outdoor advertising

The word “banner” usually means the rectangular fabric sheet with information or advertising content.

In the business environment as its synonyms appear streamers, posters.

All these products are effective tools for outdoor advertising and are produced by large-format printing. The basic material for their production are banner fabric (backlit, blackout and frontlit).

In online advertising

Banner – is one of the dominant formats of Internet advertising.

They represent a graphic image similar to an advertising module in the press, but which can contain animated (rare video) elements, as well as a hyperlink to the advertiser’s site or a page with additional information.

Traditional banner is a graphical image in GIF or JPEG.

Pictures of them can be both static and animated (in GIF format, the effect of motion is achieved by alternating several images).

Newer banners are made on technology Flash or Java.

Unlike traditional banners, using raster graphics, these banners use vector graphics, which allows to make animation effects on a small banner.

In addition, Flash-banners are provided for use of sound effects, which increases the effectiveness of banner as an advertising medium compared with traditional one.

In sports

At sporting events the banners placed fans to provide support to individual athletes or an entire team, or conversely, to express dissatisfaction with a game or a policy manual, or ridicule, and insult the opponent and / or its fans.
